Bookings Policy

Bookings can be made by via the online bookings page on our website or via phone or email, we are strictly by appointment only.

Once you have made a booking you will receive a confirmation email of your time and you will also receive a reminder email and SMS 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Charlotte Powell Acupuncture + Wellness has a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% appointment fee. Failure to cancel or attend the booked appointment will incur 100% of the appointment fee.

Rescheduling can be made up to 24 hours prior to the original appointment time. Please manage your booking online or contact us directly at charlottepowellacupuncture@gmail.com or 0407094200 to make changes to your appointment.

Late cancellation or no-show fees will be sent via email and can be paid directly into the provided bank account or at your next appointment.

Client Intake Forms

All new clients are required to complete the Initial Intake and Consent Form for any Acupuncture, Cupping or Reiki appointment at least 12 hours prior to their scheduled appointment. If you have not completed your intake prior to your appointment you will need to complete it at the beginning of your appointment at the expense of your consultation time.

Payment Policy

All payments are to be made in full on the day of the appointment via card or a direct bank transfer before you leave the clinic. You are welcome to pay cash, however cash is not kept on the premises as such, you are required to have the correct amount as no change will be available.
Please know that at Charlotte Powell Acupuncture + Wellness, we do not offer refunds for any services provided. 

Private Health Rebates and Claims 

Private Health Rebates are available for Acupuncture and Chinese medicine, check with your health fund to ensure you are covered for Acupuncture in your extras.

If your health fund covers Acupuncture, you will be provided with a tax invoice upon payment for the appointment that you can use to claim online via your health funds website or app.

Reiki appointments are not claimable. If you book in for an Acupuncture + Reiki appointment only the Acupuncture cost will be claimable as stated on your invoice.

Privacy Policy

Charlotte Powell Acupuncture + Wellness abides by the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles and will always ensure the security and safety of all personal details.

Appointment Information

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the commencement of your appointment to ensure that your consultation will run for the full allocated time. Additional time will not be offered if you arrive late to your appointment and 100% of the consultation fee will still be applied. Please wait in the waiting area provided if the clinic door is closed as we are likely with a client.
